ABOUT SCHUMER PERFORMANCE
BUILT TO DEVELOP
MORE THAN SPEED.
Schumer Performance helps young athletes become faster, stronger, more confident, and better prepared for the demands of their sport. Our mission is to train the whole athlete, building habits that last far beyond sports.
A PASSION FOR THE PROCESS.
Coach Matt founded Schumer Performance on one simple belief: every athlete has untapped potential.
Through individualized coaching, purposeful training, relentless attention to detail, and measurable progress, he helps athletes become faster, stronger, more confident, and better prepared for competition.
“I want every athlete to remember that I cared about their development as both a human and an athlete, and that I gave everything I could toward their program.”

HOW WE COACH
THE SCHUMER COACHING PHILOSOPHY.
1
SEE THE INDIVIDUAL
No two athletes move, learn, or develop in exactly the same way. Programs are built around the athlete’s sport, performance level, goals, mechanics, and training history.
2
MEASURE WHAT MATTERS
Laser timing, GPS tracking, sprint testing, and jump assessments provide objective information about performance. The data helps establish a baseline, track improvement, and guide future training.
3
COACH THE DETAILS
Small technical changes can create meaningful improvements. Group sizes remain limited so each athlete receives focused instruction and attention to their individual mechanics.
4
DEVELOP THE COMPLETE ATHLETE
Speed is the specialty, but complete athletic performance also requires strength, power, agility, mobility, endurance, recovery, discipline, and confidence.
